THE BIBLE IS CLEAR?

What if the Bible is clear—but not always about what we've been told?

The Bible Is Clear? invites Christians, former Christians, and those questioning their faith into an honest conversation about certainty, interpretation, humility, and the teachings of Jesus.

Faithful Questions Are Still Faithful

This is not a book about abandoning Scripture or attacking the Church. It is an invitation to examine how certainty, tradition, politics, culture, and personal assumptions can shape what we believe the Bible says.

Jim Fuller returns to the teachings of Jesus, the Sermon on the Mount, the Greatest Commandments, and the people whom Jesus consistently placed at the center of his ministry. The goal is not to tell readers what they must believe. It is to make room for humility, honest questions, and a faith that looks more like Jesus.

You have questions about Christianity that you were told you should not ask.

You still believe in Jesus but struggle with parts of modern Christian culture.

You have walked away from church but have not stopped wondering about faith.

You have heard people say “the Bible is clear” and wondered whether it really is that simple.

You want to understand Scripture with more context, humility, and curiosity.

You want to separate the teachings of Jesus from politics, tradition, and personal preference.

Why Are People Walking Away From Church?

Church attendance is declining across America. But are people abandoning Jesus—or walking away from churches where they can no longer find him?

About Jim Fuller

Jim Fuller is the author of Chasing Freedom, host of the Mr. Disability Dad podcast, a father, and an advocate whose life has forced him to wrestle honestly with faith, certainty, loss, and the difference between what we are taught and what Jesus actually said.

The Bible Is Clear? grew out of those questions—not as an attack on Christianity, the church, or the Bible, but as an invitation to slow down, examine context, approach Scripture with humility, and put the teachings of Jesus back at the center of the conversation.

Why I Wrote This Book

I didn’t write this book because I have all the answers.

I wrote it because I became increasingly uncomfortable with how confidently Christians—including me—can say, “The Bible is clear,” while sincere people reading the same Bible reach very different conclusions.

What if humility is not weakness in our faith? What if admitting that interpretation is complicated actually brings us closer to Jesus instead of farther away from Him?

The Bible Is Clear? is an invitation to examine what we believe, why we believe it, and whether tradition, politics, culture, or personal preference sometimes speak louder than the person we claim to follow.

This is not a book about abandoning faith.

It is about being willing to question certainty in order to rediscover Jesus.

Certainty Ends Conversations. Curiosity Begins Them.

You do not have to agree with every conclusion to join the conversation. Bring your faith, your doubts, your experiences, and your questions.
